You don’t need the pet to keep up with your dmg (if you don’t want to). Most of your threat comes from growl anyways. If you’re already getting into multiple trees I’d get Hawk Eye asap though. It’s a personal preference but I find it good to have some extra distance to things.
When ever I lvl I go BM. It’s not all points in BM but there are a lot of them. In the end it looks something like this.-Talnivarr EU:
Utarius – 80 Warrior
Tyradar – 80 Hunter
Vardos – 80 Paladin
Daedros – 80 Deathknight
Gardon – 80 Druid
Gorgathar – 78 Shaman
Drana – 74 Priest
Xyrana – 73 Warlock
Urthak – 70 Rogue
Tyrana – 71 MageI’m going BM spec all the way. I’ve had no problem solo play. I’d at least get Unleased Fury. To help the pet keep up with your damage output.
I have wrath, and it’s pretty cool. The pet does way more damage, and it’s a fairly short cooldown timer. I’m looking forward to getting beast within. Then I think I’ll start dumping into MM after that.
I love having the status cures in my mend pet 2/2. If your pet has a nasty Def. down or poison you can remove it.
I have not crunched the numbers yet, but I’m hoping to have Aimed shot down the line.–If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions.
Gyfdruid: Tauren Druid lv80- Battle Chicken
Gyfford: Tauren Warrior lv80- TG Fury
Gyfhunter: Orc Hunter lv80 – Beastmastery
Gyfhidden: Troll Rogue lv80- PvP hobby
FFXI: Deleted 8-19-07 RIPMY DESIRED TREE
This is the direction I’m thinking about heading towards. I really like being BM specced and looking to do more ranged damage as well. So I’d like to start dipping into the MM tree.
If this is a viable direction, should I aim (pun intended) towards Bestial Wrath or Trueshot Aura. I had a hard time with that one?
And if you’d like to see where I’m currently at, you can check the Armory – here
Any suggestions or direction would be groovy.
Happy Trails!
