About 25 levels or so ago I went through the ultimate pug nightmare in arletrusade [getting hte main boss]. Everything happened, a hunters pet attrted a huge mob when he jumped down from the fountain and it for some reason ran down the steps [shouldnt it follow?] we have 4 terrible replements for a ne priest [who kept afk'ing in a fight and then had to leave] we got wed 7 times. It took a total of six hours with long waits between players leaving andoming pand needing to be summoned]. Fortunately we had a hunter [same guy whose pet attrted] with enormous patiee, me and a mage [whose bome alose buddy of mine sie then], all who played quite well. We had warriors who wouldntollt agro or tank [even though they did say they had the trees for it], we had resto druids who feral’ed, we had retri pala’s ting like preists and another hunter who refused to use anything but a +healing staff he had and kept heading for the dude at the alter [instead of killing the mobs around; who you should know all agro if we attk him]. anyway the point is, in the end we get a warrior and a shaman. And we kill all the dudes around. And then go for him. Iam getting him bigtime, everyone is. Then the REAL bossomes out [non of us 3 knew that the real bossomes out oe her fellows dead; i'd forgoten tohk up on what all arletrusade has] and in our shked state, she has time to rez the fool bk. I realise we’re in for another we, and blow all myooldowns, iam getting hit bad and my add on is showing everyone else is as well. But amazingly at the end we’re all alive and i realise no one had gone below half life. My damageounter showed that the shaman not only healed us a huge amount [is there a healing totem?] and did ne damage too. It woulda been alear we. The dude was VERY skilled and VERY experieed. I found he’s been around sie WoW lauhed.
